Dear Yogis,
Tomorrow brings a special moment – the Hunter’s Moon, which is also a Supermoon! This means the moon will be closer to Earth, shining brighter and appearing larger than usual. The energy of a full moon is always powerful, but when it’s a supermoon, the energy is amplified. It’s a great time to align our yoga practice with this lunar energy.
The full moon is a time of completion, reflection and release. It represents the peak of energy, and it’s important to find balance during this time. In Yoga, we connect with the moon’s energy to calm the mind and body, allowing ourselves to reflect and let go of what no longer serves us.
The Hunter’s Moon is traditionally the time to gather and prepare for the winter, so spiritually, it’s a moment to focus on what is truly important and let go of distractions. The supermoon enhances this energy, helping us to look inward, find clarity and reset our intentions.
In Yoga, the Chandra Nadi ( or lunar energy channel ) represents our more introspective, feminine side. Full moons remind us to honour this by practicing with mindfulness, allowing space for emotions and gentle awareness of our inner world.
This full moon is a powerful opportunity to realign with your inner self. Let’s use this lunar energy to find balance, release what no longer serves us and step forward with greater clarity and intention.
With lunar blessings,
Sima
