October Full Moon in Aries 🌝

Dear Yogi friends,
Today, we welcome the Hunter’s Moon, the full moon that follows the Harvest Moon. Traditionally, its bright light guided hunters as they prepared for the colder, darker months ahead. Spiritually, this moon invites us to do the same – to reflect on what we have gathered this year and prepare ourselves inwardly for the season ahead.
The full moon always amplifies energy, stirring emotions like the tides. You may feel more sensitive, restless or deeply reflective at this time. The Hunters Moon encourages us to ask:
✨ What am I ready to release?
✨ What do I wish to carry with me into the winter months?
The Moon governs tides, and since our bodies are around 60% water, many traditions link full moons to emotional intensity.
A gentle way to balance this watery emotional energy is through grounding practices; slow yoga flows, hip-opening poses ( to release stored emotional tension ), and calming breathwork like nadi shodahana ( alternate nostril breathing ).
May this full moon shine light on your path, guiding you with clarity and peace as we move closer to the stillness of winter.
With love and light

September Full Moon – The Corn Moon & Lunar Eclipse

Dear Yogis,
Today, We welcome the Corn Moon in Pisces, accompanied by a powerful total lunar eclipse.
This full moon shines a light on our inner world, especially our emotions, and like the tides of ocean, we too may feel pulled in deep directions.
The Pisces energy brings heightened sensitivity, intuition, and compassion. You may notice dreams becoming more vivid, emotions rising to the surface, or old patterns revealing themselves. This is not a time to resist – it’s an invitation to soften, surrender and release.
In Yoga tradition, the full moon is linked to prana ( energy ) being at its peak, which can make us feel both energised and unsteady. That’s why soft, inward practices – rather than strong flows help us balance and honour this powerful lunar phase.
May this Corn Moon guide you to release with grace, flow with your emotions like water, and find stillness within.
With lunar light

August Full Moon – The Sturgeon Moon 🌕

Dear Yogis,
As we welcome the Sturgeon Moon, August’s full moon, We are invited to pause and reflect. Named after the ancient fish that were once most plentiful this time of year, this moon carries the energy of abundance, resilience, and introspection.
Emotionally, full moons tend to heighten feelings – you may feel more sensitive, reactive, or nostalgic right now. That’s okay. The Sturgeon Moon encourages us to go inward, let go of old emotional baggage, and realign with our deeper intentions.
What to do:
🌾 Slow down and take stock of what ’s growing in your life.
🧘‍♀️Ground yourself with calming, meditative practices.
🕯️Journal, reflect, and gently release what no longer serves you.
This is a beautiful time for moon salutations, hip openers, and long, soothing breaths. Let’s honour the emotional tides, trust the process, and flow with the moon’s gentle guidance.
Wishing you presence and peace,
Sima

Full Moon in Capricorn – Thursday, July 10

Dear Yogis,
July’s full moon rises in the earth sign of Capricorn, the ambitious and grounded sea goat of the zodiac.
Nicknamed the Buck Moon because it coincides with the time of year that deer grow antlers in North America, this lunation represents a moment of change and transcendence. This is a powerful lunar moment that invites us to reflect, release and realign with our purpose.

🌕 The Emotional Energy of the Full Moon
Full moons often stir our emotions, bringing what’s hidden into light. You may feel more sensitive, contemplative, or even a little restless. Emotions tend to rise like the tides, asking to be seen and felt. Capricorn, an earth sign known for structure and discipline, invites us to ground ourselves amidst the emotional waves.

🌕 A Time for Spiritual maturity
Spiritually, this full moon asks us to balance ambition with emotional wisdom. It’s a time to reflect on your goals, responsibilities, and the structures in your life. Are they aligned with your deeper truth? Are they supporting your growth – or weighing you down?
Rather then striving or pushing forward, this is a beautiful moment to pause and honour your journey.

🌕 How to Embrace the Full Moon Energy
* Reflect: Journal about what you’re ready to release – habits, fears, patterns, or self doubt.
* Ground: Spend time in nature or sit quietly with your breath to find stillness within.
* Gratitude: Expressing gratitude during the full moon can amplify positive energy. Write down what you are thankful for and offer thanks to the universe.
* Rest: Listen to your body and allow space for deep healing and integration.

Let this full moon be a sacred pause – a chance to check in , breathe deeply, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
With light and gratitude,
Sima

Full Moon in Sagittarius – Tuesday June 10th

Theme: Truth, Trust & Letting Go
Dear Yogis,
This Week’s Strawberry Moon in Sagittarius is a beautiful and powerful moment in the lunar cycle. As we move to the heart of summer, this full moon invites us to release emotional baggage, trust our intuition and take a bold step forward.
Sagittarius is the sign of the seeker – It stirs up our desire for truth, freedom, and expansion. At the same time, full moons can heighten our emotions. You might notice big feelings bubbling up, old beliefs being challenged, or a sudden urge to shake things up and move in a new direction.
✨Instead of resisting this energy – harness it.
This is a great time to release old stories and step into your next chapter with clarity and courage.
Here are some yoga poses to help you harness this lunar cycle:
🌝 Half Moon Pose ( Ardha Chandrasana ) – to channel balance and clarity
🌝 Revolved Triangle ( Parivrtta Trikonasana ) – to invite perspective and detox old beliefs
🌝 Camel Pose ( Ustrasana ) – to open the heart and tap into courage
🌝 Seated Forward Fold ( Paschimottanasana ) – to soothe the nervous system and turn inward
🌝 Supported Savasana – always finish with rest, letting it all integrate
This full moon is about trusting your path and daring to dream bigger. Let’s move with intention, breathe deeply, and honour this lunar moment together on Tuesday June 10th.
With light and lunar love,
Sima
