Dear Yogis,
As we approach this month’s full moon – the Beaver Moon – We are invited to pause, breathe, and feel. Full moons are powerful energetic gateways – a time when everything rises to the surface so we can see clearly, release deeply, and realign with intention.
The full moon occurs on 05 November, and it falls in the sign of Taurus. It’s classed as a supermoon: this is the biggest and brightest full moon of 2025, because the moon is at or near its closest point to Earth.
This Beaver Moon in Taurus carries potent themes of grounding, value, stability, and material/spiritual balance. The Beaver Moon name reminds us of preparation, of finalising what needs tending before winter – in nature and inside ourselves.
Key words: steadiness, worth, inner resources, comfort, release of old patterns around security, sensuality, grounded being.
Invitation: Ask yourself – What do I value most? What supports me in feeling safe, stable, and aligned? What am I ready to release or transform so I can stand in my own strength?
This full moon in Taurus invites a gentle, grounded, sensory practice – one where the body is honoured, the senses awakened, and the release is soft but firm.
To honour this lunar cycle, I invite you to bring this theme of “value & grounded being” into your yoga practice. Let’s slow down the pace, soften the practice and honour the moon’s wisdom together.
With love, light, and lunar blessings,
Sima
