Scorpio Full Moon – A Time for Deep Healing and Release.

May”s Full Moon Is Here – Embrace Your Inner Transformation.
Dear Yogis,
Today, we welcome the Flower Moon in the intense and transformative sign of Scorpio. This full moon is named for the abundant blooming in nature during May – but in Scorpio, its energy turns inward, inviting emotional depth, release, and personal transformation.
Scorpio is a water sign ruled by intuition, rebirth, and the unseen. You may find emotions rising to the surface, old wounds asking to be healed, or hidden truths revealing themselves. This is a powerful time to let go of what no longer serves you, especially deep emotional patterns or fears.
How to Honour the Energy of the Scorpio Full Moon:
* Create space for reflection and stillness
* Embrace shadow work or journaling to explore your inner world
* Release through ritual – burning old beliefs or writing them down and letting them go
Scorpio Moon Ritual Tip:
Light a candle, journal on this question: What part of me is ready to die so something more powerful can be born?
This is a time to shed old skin, like the Scorpio does, and rise lighter, clearer, and more in tune with your true self.
With love and lunar light.

Full Moon in Libra

Hello lovely yogis,
This week we welcome the beautiful Pink Moon – April’s full moon – lighting up the sky with a soft, powerful energy.
Despite its name, the moon won’t actually appear pink, but it’s called the Pink Moon after the wildflowers (like moss phlox) that start to bloom around this time – a symbol of renewal, growth, and fresh starts.
Spiritually, this full moon invites us to reflect on what’s blossoming in our lives. It’s a time to release old patterns, clear space, and align with what we truly want to grow – both on and off the mat.
In our yoga practice, we can honour this lunar energy with calming, grounding poses that help us reconnect with ourselves and the rhythms of nature. Think:
• Moon Salutations (Chandra Namaskar) to tune in and flow gently • Malasana (Yogi Squat) for rooting and releasing • Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Fold) for introspection • Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclined Butterfly) to open the heart and receive • And of course, time in Savasana to just be under the moon’s light (even if only in spirit)
Take a moment during this full moon to pause, breathe, and honour the journey you’re on. Let go of what no longer serves, and make space for what wants to bloom.
Sending you all full moon magic and love,
Sima

We’re back to the mat tonight – Let’s open our hips!

Hi yogis,
I hope this finds you well!
Just a quick reminder that we’re back on the mat this evening, and I’m looking forward to seeing you all. Tonight, we’ll be focusing on hip openers.
Hip opening poses are powerful both physically and emotionally. Physically, they increase flexibility and mobility, reducing tension in the lower back and improving posture. Emotionally, our hips are known to store stress and negative emotions. By releasing this tension, we can experience a sense of emotional relief and balance.
Looking forward to sharing this practice with you and helping you release what no longer serves you.
See you on the mat!

Embracing Stillness – Happy Snow Moon

Dear Yogis,
Tonight, we welcome February’s Snow Moon, a time of quiet reflection and renewal. Just as snow blankets the earth, this full moon invites us to slow down, rest and release what no longer serves us. It’s a beautiful reminder that even in stillness, transformation is happening beneath the surface.
This is a perfect moment to embrace gentle, grounding yoga practices that bring warmth and stability, poses like Child’s Pose, Seated Forward Fold, and Legs Up The Wall help us cultivate deep rest and inner clarity. You might also take a few moments to breathe deeply, journal, or set intentions for the coming weeks.
May this full moon bring you peace, renewal, and clarity as you move through this season.
Wishing you a restful and illuminating full moon!
Love & Light:))

Mid Term Break – Tuesday February 18th.

Embracing the Wolf Moon in Cancer

Dear Yogis,
Tonight, under the light of the Wolf Moon, we find ourselves immersed in the nurturing energy of Cancer. This full moon invites us to reconnect with our emotions and reflect on our need for security and comfort.
The Wolf Moon, named after howling wolves during mid winter, symbolises strength, resilience and community. In Cancer, it brings heightened sensitivity and a deep yearning for emotional balance. You may feel a strong pull toward introspection, self-care, and creating a safe space for yourself and others.
Falling in the sign of water sign, Cancer, this lunation urges us to lean into a new way of being, it may be hard to let go of nostalgia and memories of what has been, but we should shift our perspective and embrace new.
To honour this energy, consider practicing these yoga poses:
1. Child’s Pose ( Balasana ): Embrace grounding ad nurture yourself
2. Bridge Pose ( Setu Bandhasana ): Open your heart and connect with your inner strength.
3. Half Moon Pose ( Ardha Chandrasana ): Channel the moon’s energy and tap into the feminine parts of yourself.
Take this opportunity to breathe deeply and let the moon’s energy guide you toward clarity and emotional harmony.
See you on the mat,
With love & light
Sima

Happy Full Moon and Celestial Blessings

Dear Yogis,
Today’s full moon is extra special – It graces us with its luminous energy while aligning with the last meteor shower of the year, a rare cosmic combination.
This is a powerful time to reflect, release and set intentions as we prepare to transition into the new year.
The full moon symbolizes illumination, completion and a heightened sense of intuition. The energy of the meteor shower encourages us to welcome change and spark creativity. Together, these celestial events offer a unique opportunity for renewal and alignment.
To honour this energy, I recommend the following yoga poses in your practice:
Uttanasana ( Standing Forward Fold ) – Encourages grounding and surrender, helping you release what no longer serves you.
Ardha Chandrasana ( Half Moon Balance ) – Connect with the cooling, soothing and nurturing energy of the moon with this balancing pose.
Malasana ( Garland Pose ) – A grounding posture to centre yourself and connect with the earth.
Viparita Karani ( Legs Up The Wall pose ) – Promotes relaxation and opens you to receive cosmic energy.
Savasana ( Corpse Pose ) – Reflect and absorb the powerful energies of the moon and meteors.
Wishing you a magical full moon filled with peace, clarity and inspiration.
With gratitude and light,
Sima
